About Esmeralda

Hi! My name is Esme, and I've been working with children for over 3 years in an after-school program, along with experience in babysitting since I was 17. My journey with child care began when I was just 14, helping care for my newborn niece and I've loved it ever since! I've worked with children between the ages of 2 to 7 and hold certifications in both First Aid and CPR. I believe in creating a nurturing, safe, and fun environment where children feel heard, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. To me, being loving, patient, and attentive to a child's feelings and interests is key to helping them thrive. I'm easy to talk to, open-minded, and always welcome feedback to grow and improve. I'm a great communicator, kind, and truly dedicated to building trust with both kids and parents. Outside of child care, I enjoy baking, doing art projects, singing, traveling, and photography. I look forward to connecting with families who value a caring, communicative, and creative caregiver.
