I'd describe my personality as calm, patient, easy to get along with. I like caring for seniors because I do best caring for others period. I care for not only the client but their family too because I'm empathetic and truly want to be there for everyone. I'm looking for a job where my schedule is consistent and I have a set schedule. Also a job where I am trusted. Building trust is very important to me because when people let a stranger into their home to care for someone they love, they have to be sure that person can be held accountable and are able to handle their job well. I started caring for seniors when I lived in Redding, CA at an old folks home. After that I worked for two more facilities and went on with IHSS which gave me a taste of what caregiving privately would be like and then I discovered Care. com! My overall experience caring for others case by case has been great and I've done it for about 5/6 years.
