My first experience was working in a boys home while I was in high school. We received training and I gained experience through assisting in the home. After years of experience in the fire dept and Emergency Room where I was certified as an EMT, ER tech and a mental health aide I expanded my training to include transfers, mental health support and cognitive decline experience. I've worked with a client diagnosed with cerebral palsy. In total I have over 20 years experience in all kinds of medical conditions. I'm also a savvy learner and will quickly be up to speed on a clients more specific needs.
