About Erin

The middle school transition is hard! After 15 years of experience as a math teacher, assistant principal, special education teacher (and being a parent myself) I am quite familiar with the abrupt change in workload in grades 6-8. From math anxiety to executive functioning challenges, I approach academic support with humor, empathy, and a strengths-based lens. I am especially passionate about math problem solving skills, adolescent literacy intervention, and the multifaceted world of writing support. Most of all, I thrive when I'm able to collaborate with my learner's school-based teams to leverage their success!
