The past 8 years I have balanced the job of being a nanny for multiple children as well as managing a high-net-worth family's household. I have taken care of people with different disabilities and ages my entire life. I am the oldest of 8 and 5 of my siblings are adopted and have special needs as well. I regularly get told that I should do companion care and it is something I've always wanted to do. I have also volunteered working with kids/adults who have disabilities and have a heart for bringing joy and creativity into their lives. I am totally willing to learn how to care for someone with a disability that I'm new to. I love museums, singing and playing piano, reading books, cooking new recipes, listening to my record player, being outside and trying anything new.
