Hi, my name is Erin, and I was inspired to care for the elderly 15 years ago as I witnessed my great-grandmother age. We tried several skilled nursing facilities and I was appalled at the way most of them treated their patients. Grandma became a number, instead of an individual. My grandmother deserved the best care! This lead our family to look into in-home care. Shortly after my grandmother passed, I embarked on my career working with people to help them thrive in their home environment. I have been blessed to meet many wonderful people and families! As well as have many enriching experiences. My experience includes but is not limited to companionship, bathing, dressing, medication assistance, meal preparation, dementia care (Alzheimer, Parkinson's, Lewy Body, etc.), diabetes care, post-stroke care, physical therapy, transportation to and from appointments, Hospice care, Hoyer Lift experience. From the moment Erin was hired she was instrumental in helping our family navigate my mother's diagnosis  in the hospital to the moment she passed. With her experience, she asks the questions that as family you sometimes do not know to ask or expect. We are forever grateful to Erin during this time. 

In the winter of 2022, my family faced the difficult task of finding care for both of my parents. We first tried a senior living facility in Oxnard (which will remain nameless), but it quickly became clear that it wasn’t the right fit. Next, we hired an agency to send caregivers into my parents’ home. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating. The caregivers often didn’t seem qualified, the company constantly nickel-and-dimed us, and trying to get a case manager on the phone was next to impossible. We felt like nobody truly cared about our parents’ well-being.

Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, I found Erin through Care.com — and everything changed. She was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise cold and impersonal industry. Erin is a one-stop shop: she runs her business with true professionalism while leading with her heart. I’ll never forget something she told my wife and me: “I will only give your parents the kind of care I would expect for my own parents or grandparents.” Erin kept that promise every single day. She gave my parents the quality of life they so richly deserved.

In the summer of 2024, we lost my dad. Erin was right there, making sure my mom was comforted and our entire family felt supported. At the beginning of 2025, we lost my mom. By then, Erin had become my mom’s favorite person — and I was more than okay with that, because of the way she treated her. Erin brought love, compassion, and dignity into my mom’s final days. She was at my mom’s side when she passed. As I walked into the room that night, my mom looked at me and said: “Thank you for bringing me my own personal Mary Poppins.”

My mom passed later that night. While we were devastated to lose the matriarch of our family, we also grieved the thought of losing Erin. She had become more than a caregiver; she had become family. I even found myself wondering how I could keep her in our lives, but I realized that Erin’s gift is meant to be shared with other families. She truly is a Mary Poppins — the kind of caregiver who will change your loved one’s life, and yours.

I cannot recommend Erin highly enough. To us, she was never just a caregiver. She was family, and she always will be.

When my father was in hospice, he said Erin was the best of all of the caregivers the agency sent. The agency had her training new people too. She was able to keep my father's wishes despite conflicting instructions from various family members and never complained.

Erin took care of both of my parents with dementia for over a year. She was a lifesaver for our family. She is very knowledgeable, organized, compassionate, communicative and respectful. She coordinated many doctors appointments, medication, home repairs (when unexpected situations occurred). She always ended her with a text/email about the days events. My parents ended up moving to an assisted living facility closer to family so we had to say goodbye to Erin. 

Erin was one of our top caregiver's! Erin's work ethic was always consistent, and she was an exceptional team player. Erin willingness to help pick up shifts and train other caregiver's showed how dependable she was. Clients and there families trusted, her skills and knowledge with caring for the them. Erin strong points are her compassion, creating a safe environment, her knowledge and communication with the clients and families. You can always count on her and getting the right care for your love ones! Erin brings a peace of mind to all!

I have had the opportunity and pleasure to have Erin M work for our family as a caregiver for my mother.  We have hired several caregivers over the years, and Erin is by far the best, and truly exceptional. Erin is  skilled, caring, patient, reliable, responsible, reassuring, organized and hard working. Mom mother needed a high level of care, requiring assistance with all of the Activities of Daily Living, with the exception of feeding herself.  Erin provided excellent care, asked intelligent questions, and offered suggestions for improvement when appropriate.  Erin communicated well with the family, and always gave us updates on my mother's condition and alerted us about anything of concern. 
My mother is very resistant to change, and wary of new caregivers, however, Erin was patient and understanding and soon found a way to connect with my mother and earn her trust.

She was my father's hospice caregiver. He had caregivers 24/7 and said she was the best one. 
We noticed she train some of other caregivers on procedures such as transferring from the bed to his chair.
She did an excellent job of following instructions even when other family members tried to order her to do otherwise.

We were lucky to get Erin in as the primary caregiver for our Mom.  Our Mom was on the end with congestive heart failure, and wheelchair bound due to some falls.   Erin's knowledge, experience, compassion and ability to support my Mom and family during this difficult time was so valuable.  Being able to fully trust Erin in the care of my mother enabled my Dad, myself and siblings gave us ease.    I value Erin's ability to navigate our family's occasional tensions and emotions during this time.    My Mom formed a very special relationship with Erin, and that was a wonderful part of her life at the end.

Erin is excellent. She took great care of mom.  She is the best.

Erin cared for mom (in her mid 80's) from ambulatory through the day of her passing.  We could not have asked for better care and caring.  She was efficient, perceptive, and went above and beyond to make herself available.  Her intelligence and positive outlook was a benefit to mom and family.  She's the best.

Erin is punctual, dependable, mature, responsible, and experienced. She understands the needs of our family, and works diligently to provide the best possible care. Thank you for making the last days of my aunt's the best they could be. Thank you.
