About Erin

Hi, my name is Erin! I worked in cyber security and had a second career in education (K-12 Spanish and 6-12 English teacher) before transitioning to my current (and favorite!) role of stay-at-home mom. I strive to create a fun, effective, and positive learning environment. During my time as a certified teacher, I continuously earned highly effective teaching scores. I'm familiar with many different learning styles and capable of adjusting lessons to meet the unique needs of students. If you were to ask students to describe my classes, they'd say mention my classes are fun even if they don't generally love the subject being taught and rigorous. I learned Spanish in school and while studying abroad in Chile and Costa Rica. I also have strong writing skills in English, which helped me co-author and publish multiple academic journal articles.
