My teaching philosophy is that students don't care what you know until they know that you care! Building strong connections is at the heart of my practice. I have my masters plus 30 additional graduate credits and over 15 years of experience teaching all ages. I have an active post graduate professional license in Virginia and I am endorsed in the following: Elementary Education, English as a Second Language and Special Education (in progress). I currently teach Literacy Essentials and Strategies for Success at Madison High School. I have received AVMR training and am Orton-Gillingham trained .
