About Erin

My name is Erin, and I am going into my senior year of college, majoring in Elementary Education at Illinois State University. I am currently looking for a flexible summer tutoring position where I can make a positive impact by helping students succeed academically. I'd describe myself as organized, caring, and hardworking. I enjoy creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable and encouraged to learn! I have been tutoring and working with elementary students (K-5) for over four years. Whether through volunteering, clinical experiences, nannying, or paid tutoring opportunities, I have gained extensive experience working with a wide range of diverse learners. My top tutoring skills include providing individualized instruction, creating engaging learning activities, and building student confidence. My goal at the end of the day is to make learning fun while also providing the support and instruction each student needs to progress in their academic journey.
