About Erin

Hello! My name is Erin. I am a big animal lover. I have had cats and dogs since I was very young. I love learning about different breeds of cats and dogs. I also like to learn about veterinary care. I have an undergraduate degree and a master's degree. I currently volunteer for an organization called Pet Haven. I have had a number of different volunteer roles there. I have been a vet records assistant, intake coordinator, and biography writer. My work at Pet Haven has mostly been with cats. I love dogs, too! Caring for animals is a passion of mine. I recently lost my senior bonded pair of cats. They passed away from old age. I learned a lot from caring for them since I had them from kittens to seniors and one of them struggled with hyperthyroidism. It was such a great experience to have them and care for them.
