About Erin

I have been watching children ever since my youngest sister was born in 2002. I have grown up taking care of her, which made it easier for me when I started babysitting in 6th grade. My recent babysitting jobs have been with families that have 4 young children ages 4-9. When I babysit I usually make dinners, play with the kids, help with homework, give them baths, put them to bed etc. I also am able to drive them to practices, or pick them up from school or camps. Besides babysitting, I also took part in cross age teaching. This is a program that allows high school students to go help out teachers in elementary schools. For the past 3 years I have helped out with a kindergarten class and I absolutely loved it. I help the kids with their reading, writing and math skills, and play with them at play time. In addition, over the summer I was a volunteer at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and was able to play with patients and visit them in their rooms. It was an incredible experience.
