About Erin

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and creative. I enjoy teaching and helping students to find the "ah-ha moments" when it all clicks and they feel accomplished by their own growth and understanding. I value the discovery work that it takes to bridge the gaps in students' understanding of the material to build a solid foundation. I started tutoring when I was in college, through my internship and academic-scholarship experiences in the local high schools and middle schools, and within the college-level tutoring programs. I spent time working as a para-professional for struggling middle school students. In my spare time, I like to play acoustic guitar, ride my E-bike with my son to local parks, paint, and sew. My skills include middle school and high school maths, focused on basic/early math, and all levels of Algebra.
