About Erin

Nurturing children and watching them blossom is my greatest joy. For 33+ years, I've had the privilege of supporting families and children as an elementary schoolteacher. My graduate degree and teaching certification have equipped me with the skills to work with all ages. I'm patient, creative, and a problem solver. I am married and have two adult sons. I retired from teaching in 2025 and am currently working a part time substitute job at Parma City Schools as a special education assistant. I love to work with others and enjoy being active. Both of my parents needed care as they aged. While my mother lived in a long term facility, my father was cared for at home. My sister and I would split responsibilities for the week and tackle it together. My father passed at 98 years old. A life well lived:) I am happy to help around the house and provide companionship on a part time basis. I look forward to bringing my experience and passion to your family. Erin B.
