About Erin

Hello! My name is Erin, and I am a PhD student in the Human Development and Family Science department at Virginia Tech. I am a Certified Family Life Educator with a strong academic and practical background in child development. I hold an associate's in Early Childhood Education, and both my B. S and M. S degrees are in Human Development and Family Science. I have multiple years of experience working in an early childhood education center, as well as extensive nannying experience. My background includes caring for infants as young as 2 months old, toddlers, and school-aged children. I have experience supporting online learning for school-aged children, providing structured routines, both creating and engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities. I am seeking a childcare position over the summer during my semester break and am open to both part-time and full-time work! I am dependable, nurturing, and passionate about supporting children's growth, learning, and well-being.
