Hi, I'm Erika. I was a third grade teacher for the past 5 years and transitioned to full time nannying this school year. I hold a bachelors degree in childhood education and a masters degree in special education. In addition to my experience in the classroom, I have babysat for many families with children of all ages (newborns to teenagers) and worked for four summers at sleep away camp. I have also tutored children, worked in after school programs and worked at day camp for three summers. I greatly enjoy working with and caring for children. I am available to babysit on Fridays and the weekend. I have no problem with taking children out, preparing meals, providing homework assistance, facilitating games and activities, and taking care of bath time and bedtime. Erika is an absolute angel! We traveled to NYC so that I could undergo a pretty extensive surgery. Erika went above and beyond to care for and entertain our 4 and 2 year olds over the course of multiple days. She was so flexible, communicative and helpful. It was such a relief to know the kids were safe and in good hands, especially being in a new city that we are unfamiliar with. Erika is a wonderful and trustworthy caregiver whom anyone would be lucky to have!
