Hi, my name is Erika! I am a Blacksburg native who loves caring for little ones! I am not currently looking to take on many regular hours as I am working several part-time positions. Potentially open to considering a few hours midday T/Th depending on my availability. I have been working with infants (my sweet spot!) & children in many settings for 15+ years, & have extensive experience with all ages- newborns through teens, as well as autism, ADHD, & other special needs. I worked as an elementary & pre-k special ed aide for 9 years, working 1:1 with children with various needs. I am first aid & CPR certified, can provide reliable transportation, have past experience lifeguarding, ASL experience, and am a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. I have also completed multiple Newborn Care Specialist trainings. I am detail oriented & can help with light housekeeping tasks like organizing, laundry, & cleaning.
