About Erika
Experience: 10 yrs
I have been teaching for the last 15 yrs in all aspects of Education. I have been afforded the opportunity to work as a general Ed. elementary classroom teacher (TK-6), a Homeschool Teacher (K-12), Home Hospital Teacher (K-12) and most recently a Reading Intervention specialist (K-3), working in a classroom setting (in person and virtually) along with a home setting. In the summer of 2021 I also became certified in the Orton Gilling ham approach to working with students with dyslexia. Teaching is my passion, and seeing my students thrive and be successful is what inspires me. I have recently moved to the area and looking to find a homeschool teaching position or a consistent tutoring assignment.
Most recent review
Erika is wonderful. As a busy parent, I haven't been able to spend much time making sure my daughter is on track in school. Erika is keeping our 1st grader reading at a 3rd/4th grade level, and her math on par, and working to improve in that area. We're going into our third month of having her help every week. I highly recommend her tutoring!
