About Erika

Hello! I am so excited to be working with you! I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University where I earned my Bachelors of Elementary Education and my Masters of Special Education. I am a teacher who is passionate about making education engaging and accessible for all learners! I have five years of teaching experience. I started my career teaching 4th grade in the general education setting, then moved into a special education role. I have experience teaching in a variety of settings and grade levels. I have taught 3rd-8th grade, and I have taught general education and special education in a self-contained program for students with autism. I currently teach 3rd & 4th grade as a special education teacher. I am looking for part-time work in the child care/special needs care field. I absolutely LOVE working with kids and having a positive influence in their lives!
