Hi, my name is Erika! I am a Blacksburg native who loves caring for little ones! I am looking for a new part time (up to ~30hrs/wk) position for this fall & beyond, beginning late Sept-mid Oct. My ideal position would be newborn care/postpartum family & household support in the early days. I have been working with infants (newborns & under 1s are my passion!) & children of all ages in many settings for 15+ years. I worked as an elementary & pre-k 1:1 special ed aide for 9 years with children with various needs. I am very safety conscious, first aid & CPR certified, a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (car seat tech), & have ASL experience. I have also completed multiple Newborn Care Specialist trainings. I am detail oriented & can help with light housekeeping tasks like organizing, laundry, & cleaning.
