About Erika

Hi families! I'm currently in school for phlebotomy, and childcare has always been a big part of my life. Over the past several years I've worked with families through Care. com, caring for children from 10-week-old infants to pre-teens. I'm active and love engaging kids in ways that spark their imagination, whether it's exploring outside, doing creative projects, or encouraging new skills. Which is something I love and do with my Sunday school kids as I am a Sunday school teacher as well! I also bring experience in child development, including introducing solid foods, supporting speech and communication growth at all ages, and helping babies reach mobility milestones. I'm CPR/ First Aid certified, patient, and dependable. I'm happy to work childcare into my school schedule, my classes are on weekends. I will be looking for a job at a hospital setting in the middle of November. I would love to continue nannying throughout that time and make both mine and the families schedules work!

Erika is an exceptional sitter! She was ours for about a year starting when I returned to work after mat leave, and she was amazing with our baby girl!! It was evident she’s very experienced with and knowledgeable about caring for babies. Not only did she take care of her daily needs well (feedings, diaper changes, etc.) but was very interactive with her. Took her on walks, to the park, did art projects, etc. And she was always on time, rarely just a few minutes late due to traffic which she would let us know. Also always communicated with us in a respectful and timely manner- gave plenty of notice if she needed time off for anything. Was accommodating to our needs/requests too. To sum up, we loved her!
