About Erika

Hi! I have a love for learning and teaching. I believe that in addition to playing and exploring imparting a love of learning is important in childcare. I am very familiar with special needs children and non verbal communication. I am very fond of seniors and enjoy having conversations with them about their interests and lives in general. I have a tremendous respect for their experiences and the wisdom they have gained from living throughout the years, and my interactions reflect that. I'm a great listener and very supportive as I strive to meet the unique needs of each client. I am a Registered Nurse currently licensed with the state of Virginia and am looking to explore other opportunities in the area of caregiving. I love gardening, reading, music, and outdoor activities. I also love gentle pets and people.
