Hello! I am a mother to a wonderful son who has ADHD and is on the Autistic Spectrum. He drives me to continue my education and show him that despite being older, it's never too late to do what your heart desires! I have a caregiver certificate and a gerontology degree and am currently working on my nursing degree. I plan on becoming a geriatric nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner. I enjoy being around elders and making a difference in their lives. I have experience working at assisted living facilities, city-run senior centers, and used to care for an elderly couple of 82+ in their home for almost 2 years. I am a firm believer in treating this cohort with compassion, dignity, and respect. I can help with activities of daily living, transportation, and we can discuss other needs if you need them. I aIso don't mind being around animals; I love them all! I am a cellist, love the outdoors, love baseball, and can speak Spanish. Please don't hesitate to reach out!
