About Erika

Hello! I am a mother to a wonderful son who has ADHD and is on the Autistic Spectrum. He is my drive to continue my education and show him that despite being older, it's never too late to do what your heart desires! I have a caregiver certificate, a gerontology degree, and currently working on my nursing degree. I plan on becoming a geriatric nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner. With that said, I enjoy being around elders and making a difference in their lives. I have experience working at assisted living facilities and I currently work for a city-run senior center and care for an elder couple of 82+ in their home for a few hours a week. This cohort needs to be treated with compassion, dignity, and respect. I am looking to get a few more hours during the weekend. I can help with activities of daily living, transportation, and any other things you may need help with. I can always discuss and adjust as needed.
