My name is Erika and I am originally from Brazil. I've been in the US for 20 years and I became an American citizen 10 years ago. I am a mother of 2 amazing kids! My son B is 14-year-old and he was born at 27 weeks. He spent 2. 5 months in the NICU and had some health issues until the age of 3. He's a sophomore in high school and plays for the Hockey Team and Golf team. My daughter E is 11 years old and she was also a preemie but not nearly as early as my son. She is also an athlete and plays hockey and lacrosse. My husband and I always give back to our community. I love kids and I worked as a nanny until my kids went to school. I was lucky to bring my kids to work with me and they created a very special bond with the children I watched.
