About Erika

I have 20+ years of experience in education. Honoring each child's unique gifts while teaching skills that help them succeed & build confidence is my approach. Teaching has been my life since I became a big sister at 18 months and I love watching children and teens find sure footing as they grow. Actual jobs began with babysitting, nannying, substitute teaching, daycare. Professionally, I have taught German, Art and Voice in public and private settings. I am also adept with English, Language Arts, and the sciences indicated. Last year I taught Portrait Drawing and How to Write, Illustrate and Publish a Children's Book. The next two years, I will be teaching German 1 and 2. My husband, daughter and I homestead near Watervliet with our two dogs and two cats, chickens and ducks.
