Hi there! My name is Erika and I am searching for a reoccurring nanny job in addition to one-time jobs as desired by the family. I started babysitting at the age of 14 and I have worked for two companies instructing swim lessons for children of all ages and needs. I have also worked at a summer camp as an open-water Lifeguard. Over the pandemic, I nannied/house managed for a family with three girls (two on the spectrum and provided care for mom who was disabled/wheel-chair bound) In college I tutored underprivileged children at the Boys and Girls Club, assisted as a student teacher in elementary schools and took many courses with subject matter relating to early childhood development and lifespan development- my degree is in Psychology. I am very comfortable around pets as I have two dogs of my own and am more than happy to help with household chores and additional tasks. I have known Erika in a variety of ways over the past few years. She has worked for me part-time for the past two summers as a babysitter for my now, 6 and 8 year old boys and she has also been my children's swim instructor for the past two summers. I have always been very impressed by her positive and respectful attitude, her work ethic and her overall dependability. Erika has been a superb swim instructor and babysitter with a great work ethic. She provided excellent care for my children and she was always punctual. In addition to being highly reliable, Erika displays strong character. I trust her judgment and allow her to make the best decisions for my children when I am not around. I was so confident in her abilities; I referred her out numerous times as a private swim instructor to multiple families I knew with young children.
