About Erika

I am a warm, positive, and consistent mother of a 3-month-old. I started working in early childhood education about seven years ago as a preschool teacher. I have experience working with a variety of ages and abilities, including typically developing and special needs students. My favorite thing about working with children is the opportunity to see the world through their eyes, full of wonder and excitement. I believe that children deserve the same level of kindness and respect that an adult would expect. I recently finished my bachelor's degree in psychology with a family studies minor. I am all about child directed play, time outdoors, reading, singing and evidence based practices. I have minimal contact with others to reduce the spread of COVID-19. I would love to partner with your family to do our best to stay safe and healthy during this stressful time.
