We feel very fortunate to have met Erick. Our son is a 9 year old with a disability and uses a walker to move around the house. We needed someone who understood that he just wants to play and can engage him at his speed. From the very first day, Erick was warm, attentive, and genuinely engaged with our son. He has a natural ability to read children’s cues and respond with patience and kindness, which immediately put us at ease. We monitored Erick's visit using the nanny cam and noticed that Erick is resourceful and confident in handling daily routines, problem-solving on the spot, and keeping our child engaged in age-appropriate activities. Our son tried to break some household rules and Erick was able to take on this challenge calmly and reward positive behavior with some of our son's favorite games. We were happy to hear that our son was helped to make better choices and that Erick was able to win him over without bribing him or giving in to requests our son knew he could not have. We used Erick's help periodically when work took me out of town and my wife had job responsibilities to attend to. It brought great peace of mind to know Erick is dependable and takes his role seriously. Any family looking for a caring, intuitive, and dedicated caregiver would be lucky to have him.
