Hi, my name is Ericka, I am a 31-year-old continuing student at Whitworth University studying elementary education. One of my main passions in life is teaching children, and I have found many different ways to do that in my over 15 years of childcare experience. I have been a babysitter, a part-time nanny, a camp counselor at more than one summer camp, I worked for the Girl Scouts of Western Washington, I've been a tutor, I have life guarded and was a ski instructor for over 5 years. I have a fun and adventurous spirit and I feel that helps me stand above the rest as a childcare professional. I am kind and creative. I think it's important for children to experience different activities to help them grow as diverse individuals such as; hiking, swimming, rollerblading, arts and crafts, reading, play writing, dancing and many other activities that help children engage their imaginations.
