Hi, my name is Erica but please call me Ricki! I am a community birth worker and nanny. As a nanny I specialize in newborn- kinder (though I have experience with all ages). I am available for overnight newborn care or intermittent postpartum support. But, most often I work with families who need interim support with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers. My strengths are working with "littles" who are sensitive, have high sensory needs, co-regulation, are tough nappers, and/ or supporting siblings of the same or different ages. I have previous experience teaching infant room - Junior Pre-K at The Goddard School. I also taught aerial arts and yoga to toddlers and preschoolers, and comic book writing, yoga, and other extracurriculars to elementary students after school. I'm certified to teach English as a Second Language, and conversational in Spanish. I work with families part time, short term, and/or intermittently.
Ricki was great with our daughter. She had a calm nature to her that even made tough days seem easy. Highly recommend!
