About Erica

As an Assistant Supervisor and Youth Mentor, I supported youth through trauma and relational challenges, promoting self-esteem and personal growth since May 2021. Previously, as a Preschool Teacher, I tailored programs for K-5 students in online learning, fostered positive behaviors and ensured safety with every student. Volunteering full-time (May 2019- July 2020), I supported families emotionally and spiritually, aiding local shelters and food pantries. As a Summer Day Camp Counselor (May 2018 - Mar 2019), I cared for special needs campers and upheld YMCA values. Passionate about empowering children, I seek to bring my diverse skills in childcare, mentorship, and community service to organizations and families dedicated to fostering growth and resilience in young lives.
