about me . . . I have been working with children in different capacities for at least 40 years. I began by babysitting small children of the parents in our church. Approximately the same time I began volunteering in the Totally Mentally Handicapped classroom at the high school I attended. Since High School I have been to college several time while working and have become a mom to two children who are now grown. My studies in college were in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and Applied Psychology. I managed an Associates degree out of all that! Whew!
