During the pandemic, my mother suffered a serious fall and broke her femur, requiring surgery. Because of the COVID situation at the time, our family decided that we wanted her to recover safely at home rather than in a rehabilitation facility. Erica took on an important role in her recovery. She learned the physical therapy exercises my mother needed and worked with her patiently and consistently. Erica was determined to help my mother regain her strength and independence, and within weeks, my mother was beginning to walk again.
