Teaching music well is an art in itself. Many can teach, but one has to understand the dimensions of music, and be able to convey that to the student, in a reliable way. Numerous statistics have revealed the therapeutic effects of playing music, e.g. increasing test scores, increasing math comprehension, self esteem, and overall I. Q. My method uses fun techniques, which make the process easy. Learning to sing is one of the most useful ways to improve language development in children, and greatly enhances self esteem. I've seen students really evolve and open up as they gain confidence. Of course adults benefit from learning music also! My background includes teaching in a school setting, teaching adults, performing on stage and previous voice/piano teaching in my clients' homes. I love what I do and put my heart into each student.
