About Erica

Currently a part time activity coordinator and CMA in training at an assisted living facility specializing in dementia. For the past five years, I've been dedicated to caregiving. I lived with my grandmother-in-law as she gradually developed dementia. It was a true privilege to help her remain at home and as independent as possible for as long as I could, and I hope to offer that same support to other families. I deeply understand the challenges of caring for aging loved ones; the balancing act between work and caregiving, as well as the difficult decision to invite someone to help with your family member's care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with older adults and feel comfortable assisting with a wide range of tasks. This includes bathing, medication management, running errands, appointments, meal prep, feeding, conversation, and providing fun activities. I've enjoyed finding engaging activities tailored to those with dementia and have several puzzles and tools to aid in that.
