About Emory

I cannot praise Emory highly enough. Even though our child is in preschool, we hire Emory to come a few hours a week after school when she's available because she's such an important figure in our child's life. She has a true gift for meeting children where they're at and gently encouraging them to grow into their best selves. For example, when our child was scared of the snow last winter and refused to go outside, Emory managed to coax her outside through an elaborate imaginary game and broke the cycle. She's skilled, creative, experienced, unflappable, and deeply kind. I'm a highly critical person, and when it comes to parenting can micromanage, and Emory has literally never given me a moment's hesitation. She worked with my kid from age 1-3 and provided enrichment activities and educational play as well as child care. She's equally equipped to care for babies and three-nagers.
