About Emory

I am a licensed family therapist at a local community mental health agency in LA. I adore children. I have cared for children from a variety of ages (newborns to 11 y/o). Throughout college and grad school I nannied for two families, both with three children, and babysat for a few other families from time to time. Some of my responsibilities included morning routines (dressing, packing lunches, preparing nutritious breakfasts), some household work (laundry, dishes, tidying) and nighttime routines (baths, books, bed). I think what makes me unique is that I am very interactive during "play time" with children and love to have fun with them while ensuring a safe environment. It also doesn't hurt that I am a therapist and work with children in a professional setting. I am new to the West Coast so I am looking for something I can do after work or on the weekends to appreciate the joy of children and provide quality care for a family who needs support.
