About Em

I'd describe my personality as energetic, cheerful, and compassionate! I like working with kids because I love how much wonder and excitement they experience. I love getting to hear and answer questions and learn about what each individual child is interested in or curious about. I started working with kids when I was as young as 11 years old. I started babysitting during the summers and eventually started working at a preschool when I was 14. The preschool closed when I was 17 and for the summer after that I nannied for 5 children ages 2-9 years old. Since then, I've been working at Puzzle Effect(an escape room in Bend) and all the small interactions I've had with kids there have made me really miss my time at the preschool/nannying! In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends, read, dance, paint, travel, and bake! My skills include my patience, planning and delivering age appropriate crafts/fun activities, problem solving skills.
