About Emma

Making a positive impact on children's lives is my passion. For three years, I've enjoyed working with children and supporting families. My experience includes working as a substitute teacher and leading after-school programs. I cared for my nephew from 3-6 months while his mom returned to work, and have babysat children of different ages when I was in high school. I am patient, friendly, and caring. I communicate with parents using their preferred method and am comfortable enforcing household rules. I love playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with kids. I am comfortable caring for up to two children of any age. I am a certified substitute teacher in WV and am finishing up a MA in Teaching degree this summer with a focus in biology. I am comfortable helping children with any subject. I am also happy to help with carpooling, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision.
