About Emma

Hi my name is Emma! I'm 22 years old, nursing aid, CPR/First aid certified, and currently to earn my BSN (Nursing) degree. I'm considering either NICU, or pediatrics. I've always loved kids and find connecting with them easy. From elementary-high school I babysat many family-friends children ranging from ages 1-4. I have a niece and nephew (3&5) who I also consistently watch. Before switching my major to nursing, I had always planned to become a kindergarten teacher, so while in high school, I took a class that allowed me to be an intern and student teach at 2 elementary schools. I interned in a 1st grade class room during my junior year of highschool, and then a kindergarten class room for my senior year. I love kids, so babysitting seems like a great job to have while in nursing school! I just applied for nursing school, so I won't have classes until I'm accepted to a program, and am willing to build my class schedule around my caregiving schedule as much as possible.
