About Emma

I find a lot of meaning in life through childcare. Through years of experience, particularly in special education, I've developed a patient and calm approach. I know how to balance being flexible and knowing things do not always go as planned with sternness and recognizing the importance of organization. I believe in fostering curiosity through engaging activities, always following a child's lead while ensuring safety and kindness. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I communicate with parents using their preferred method and am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I will be a senior at UMass Amherst this fall, where I have completed Childhood Development coursework. Additionally I have completed First Aid Training, ABA certification and CPR Training. Speaking English, Spanish, and ASL allows me to connect with more children. I hope to bring my enthusiasm and experience to your family
