About Emma

I'd describe my personality as easygoing, attentive, and kind. I like working with kids because they have such an amazing, creative outlook on the world, being able to see it through the lens of fresh eyes. I love the responsibility of playing a guiding role in their developing lives while also learning from them! I started working with kids when I was a teenager, babysitting for neighbors. In college I began to take it more seriously, taking environmental education courses and developing an educational equine program for kids as my senior thesis. In my spare time, I like to make art, sew, spend quality time with my friends, and hang out with my horse at the barn! One thing you should know about me is that I love animals, art, and nature, and I also love to share that love with others. Let's craft, learn, and explore! My top skills include clear, patient age appropriate communication, strong emotional regulation, empathy, and conflict support/resolution, and attention to detail.
