About Emma

I am a patient, organized, and thoughtful artist and educator from New Hampshire, and have been living in Chicago for two years. I hold a dual Bachelor's from the University of New Hampshire in Fine Arts and Italian Studies, and in May graduated with my MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In August I will begin teaching at SAIC as a Fellow in the Painting & Drawing department. I love teaching, and am passionate about kids having access to the arts and being encouraged in their creative pursuits. In the past I have worked as a teacher an nanny to ages ranging from 3-month-olds to adult non-traditional students. I enjoy reading, listening to music, spending time outside, and cooking.
