About Emma

Hi! I'm Emma, a Binghamton University graduate with over 3 years of tutoring experience across all age levels--from elementary school to college. I specialize in English, reading, writing, science, homework support, and ACT/SAT prep. I tailor each session to the student's learning style and goals, whether that means mastering class content, improving study skills, or building test-taking strategies. My sessions are interactive, patient, and focused on building both skills and confidence. I've helped students with everything from essay writing and lab reports to standardized test prep and college coursework. I also love weaving in creative approaches--like science experiments, real-world examples, and study games--to make learning feel approachable and even fun. I'm passionate about helping students succeed and feel proud of their progress.
