About Emma

My name is Emma and I am a Registered Behavioral Technician which means I work with kids ranging from ages 2-18 that have been diagnosed with Autism. If you ask anyone in my family, they will tell you that I was meant to work with children. Ever since I was old enough to take a babysitters class, I have been watching kids of various ages and there is really nothing I love more than spending time with kids. I am a big sister to 4 siblings ages 8, 10, 14, and 17. I was around to watch them grow up and to help my parents take care and raise them. I have also worked as a babysitter for countless families in the past 10ish years. I also currently volunteer with the organization Brooke's Place in which I work with children ages 3-18. My friends use the words compassionate, empathetic, humorous and bubbly to describe me. I have a reliable SUV and I love all pets! In my free time I enjoy being with friends, reading, pickleball, walks, and being outside to name a few :)

Emma is my stepdaughter and had been babysitting her siblings and cousins since she was about 12 years old, maybe even younger. She has always been very responsible, dependable, and mature beyond her years, and she's an excellent cook! Her siblings enjoyed when Emma babysat because she would do stuff with them such as play games, do crafts, watch movies and make popcorn, make Gingerbread houses, and take them to the park. She has babysat overnight multiple times and has had to help with homework on occasion. She also has helped take them to school and sporting events when we were unavailable. Hire Emma, and you won't be disappointed!
