About Emma

Hello, my name is Emma and I am a soon-to-be occupational therapist -- I graduate from OSU's doctoral program in May, and am looking for part time summer work (available after April 6). You get a bang for your buck with me---in OT school we learn how to address medication management, everyday mobility, self care tasks, and much more. In addition to my formal education, I'm a tender, patient, calm presence and a good listener. I bring a boat load of compassionate care experience with adults (and children), and my OT education also equips me with a medical understanding of various access needs, mobility changes, and dynamic cognitive challenges. I pride myself on being respectful and protective of my clients' personal autonomy. I aspire to build trust with clients and their family through my warm and friendly nature, through consistency, through intentional ethical behavior, and with clear lines of communication.
