About Emma

Hello I'm Emma! I'm 27 years old, and I have been a classroom teacher in Orlando for the last 5 years serving grades 1-4. To be quite candid, the last 5 years in the classroom have been disheartening. As someone who has a deep passion for children and fostering learning, it's been frustrating to see classrooms become more about data and test scores than the individual student. In effort to stay true to myself and my values, I have decided to step away from the classroom. I've recently relocated to Fort Lauderdale and am actively seeking a career where my love for children and education can thrive. I would be a great fit for a family seeking full time care for multiple children, where I can incorporate age-appropriate play based learning, get kiddos off the screens and inspire them to be imaginative and curious, explore their interests, help with homework etc. If you think I may be the right fit for your family, I would love to hear from you!
