About Emma

Hi! I'm a current second grade teacher who has years of experience in childcare. Now that I have an abundance of free time this summer, I would love to help you with any childcare needs! My childcare experience began years ago. My mom owns an in-home daycare and I have spent many years of my life helping her care for children of all ages. I have learned proper nutrition, hygiene care, and learning through play. I also had many of my own babysitting jobs at others' homes. I have a degree in elementary education and will soon begin my second year of teaching second grade. Prior to this, I worked as a paraprofessional for two years. I learned how to help a child regulate emotions and express their needs appropriately. My years of childcare experience and my current teaching position makes me very qualified to care for your child. I am available most days and nights with a few exceptions.
