Emma was with our family from November 20 - December 22 of 2020. If you have reliable backup care, Emma is a great nanny. She was very patient with our 18 month old, read him books, meal prepped, played with him and drew beautiful art for him to enjoy while teaching him. She really is great with children. Before hire, references confirmed that she was amazing with children but had issues with reliability stating call-outs for varying reasons. We can also state this is true. There were mandatory days when we really needed care and other days where she could choose her own hours. After calling out the 3rd and 4th days of work, we talked about reliability. She proceeded to called out every Tuesday and Wednesday totaling 8 days (all call outs were days we really needed her). She called out nearly half of the days she was scheduled and went home early a few times citing various reasons which her references cited as reasons she used with them as well.
