I like caring for seniors because I always want to make a difference in the lives of people. It is a place to build relationships and create memories in the hearts of family members. I also like to give seniors the respect and compassion they deserve. I'm looking for a job that has a comfortable and appreciative work environment. I started caring for seniors when I began taking care of my step father who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I also worked in a hospital in management for a number of years. Because the hospital was often short staffed everyone helped. I learned many nursing skills and realized I loved working with patients. In my spare time, I like to listen to historical and social podcasts. I also like to keep my self physically fit. My skills include strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently. I am very good at building trust with my clients.
