My passion for childcare comes from my positive experiences in classroom settings as well as my time working as a part time nanny. As a nanny, I have experience working with kiddos ages 0-5. And in schools, I have experience with all ages. I currently work as the athletics coordinator and PE teacher (grade 1-5) at Carolina Friends School. In my work with children I am patient and supportive. I understand how crucial it is to be response to their perspective and experience, but also provide consistent structure. I enjoy engaging with children in whatever they are passionate about. I would also love to share my various passions for sports/movement, art, language, cooking with them as well. I am open to supporting your family in various ways in outside of babysitting. Emmanuel was a part-time nanny for our two children for nearly a year and a half. We were immediately impressed by his intuition and responsibility, and I truly believe hiring him was one of the best family decisions we've made. It's been an honor to know him, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had him be such an integral part of our family. He is punctual, hard-working, and exceptionally empathetic. As an aspiring teacher, he brought invaluable maturity and educational insight to the care of our autistic daughter.
